Jennifer Aniston has revealed in a new interview the unwavering support she’s found in her longtime friend and fellow actor, Adam Sandler. While some celebs spend their time bickering over the internet, Aniston and Sandler have raised the bar for what friendship goals look like.
In the recent interview Aniston shared the touching ways that Sandler and his wife, Jackie, have shown their love for her, especially during her toughest times. The popular comedy actress revealed that the Sandlers have sent her flowers every Mother’s Day as a gesture of solidarity in reference to her long-time fertility struggles.
Sandler and his wife are busy people, with another new flick on the way, but that doesn’t mean they don’t take time to send support and care to their loved ones.
Aniston has shared her journey with fertility issues openly in several interviews, drawing attention to the tumultuous nature of trying to conceive.
In a 2022 interview with Allure, she spoke about the challenges she faced, bringing an honesty to the conversation that is not often found in Hollywood:
“I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road … I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.”
Aniston has also recently addressed rumours that her past marriages to fellow actors Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux ended due to her reluctance to have children.
Her response shows that she doesn’t take kak. And she’s not afraid to set the record straight.
“I just cared about my career. And God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child. And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a kid. It was absolute lies. I don’t have anything to hide at this point.”
Sandler and Aniston’s strong bond as firm choms was cultivated over many years of working together. The buddies got close while filming the 2011 romantic comedy Just Go With It and their bond has only grown stronger, as the pair worked on 2019 comedy Murder Mystery, a collaboration that extended to the production of this year’s Murder Mystery 2.
It’s clear that the two really care for each other; something as simple as sending flowers is a touching gesture to show you’re there for your mate in the tougher times.
Step aside Ross, Phoebe, Chandler and Monica – Aniston and Sandler clearly take the cake as far as friends go.
