The Backstreet Boys have landed in South Africa and they seem to be enthralled by Cape Town already.
That up top is band member Nick Carter with bedhead, having just woken up after “travelling the world for 3 weeks” at what appears to be the Mount Nelson Hotel in town.
As News24 reports Nick, along with his fellow Backstreet Boys – Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson – landed in Cape Town at the weekend and are “starting to venture out” after catching up on some rest.
They apparently arrived from Bahrain and then went straight to the Cape Town Stadium to watch the Stormers beat Irish team Connacht 43–25. The Stormers managed to secure a spot in the United Rugby Championship (URC) final for the second consecutive year, by the way.

That’s Kevin getting a good old Cape Town wind whipping while AJ poses in front of the plane.
Then, on Sunday, Carter and his fellow bandmates visited Signal Hill:

Big Concerts has brought the boys over to our country as a part of their DNA World Tour where they are scheduled to perform two shows at GrandWest, Grand Arena on Tuesday and Wednesday before they head to Pretoria for another two shows on Friday and Saturday.
Sorry ladies (and gents), tickets are already sold out for all their shows.
Fear not though, for another favourite boy band from the 90s is on their way to SA. Westlife is set to perform in Cape Town and Pretoria in November as part of The Wild Dreams tour – read more about that here.
