Prince Andrew is reportedly considering writing his autobiography, and despite the absolute killing the other spare bro made, he wants to use it as an opportunity to set the record straight about a lot of things.
Like for instance his relationship with the suicidal paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.
It’s most likely about the money though, as settlements with royal victims like Virginia Giuffre don’t come cheap. Especially after Andrew found himself “bewildered” at being excluded from the late Queen’s will. It does indeed suck to be the future as well as the present king’s brother.
“Andrew was the original spare, and there’s plenty of material. Compared to Harry, he has a far greater depth of history to draw from. Writing a book would give him the opportunity to fully explain his association with Jeffrey Epstein and the resulting fall-out. But it would also be a fascinating insight into the inner workings of the royals and their relationships.”
The inner working of the royal family is after all extremely lucrative, and it would be interesting to have a follow-up to the international best-selling biography by the other brother. Dare we suggest a fitting title like Backup: Tales from the Other Fuckup?
With his brother King Charles seeking to slash royal funding, the prince would receive a much-needed cash injection by sharing his life story.
Indeed, another royal tell-all is exactly what we need to get us through this year. Prince Andrew is apparently speaking with famed writer and celebrity mouthpiece, Daphne Barak to write the book, but so far she has been giving him the ‘I’m busy’ treatment.
Skyhorse Publishing House, however, has begun rubbing its hands in glee, the company’s president insisting that “Andrew’s book is of great public interest. The world needs to hear his side of the story.”
We don’t know about the world, but we sure would like to know more about the weeks that Prince Andrew spent at his friend Jeffrey’s house, but we’ll most likely get a royal fairy tale about another privileged second son.
For those of you that enjoy a good royal documentary, you can still catch Games of Thrones on Showmax for a look at the ‘inner workings of the royals and their relationships’. It’s pretty accurate if you can pretend that the dragons are corgis.
