We are totally frothing over one of the 2000s’ most loved boy band stars, Ronan Keating, coming to South Africa for a concert tour soon.
I had a wee chat with the Irishman to find out how he feels about coming to our wonderful country (again) and heard more about his journey juggling family and music – check out the interview below.
The Boyzone singer has been going at it solo for quite a few years now (in 2020 he celebrated his 20th year as a solo artist) with around 12 of his own studio albums to boast.
Keating began his illustrious music career back in 1993 when he auditioned for the (then) brand-new Irish boy band and now, 30 years later, he’s still going strong as a singer/ songwriter, as well as a broadcaster, TV presenter, actor, philanthropist, loving husband and dedicated father.
The family part of Ronan Keating’s life is very important, and he’ll be bringing his wife and three (out of five) children – sons Jack, Coco and Cooper – on tour with him to South Africa this March.
Those keen for a little Y2k nostalgia and a need to belt out “You say it best when you say nothing at all” can catch Ronan Keating live at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on Friday, March 3 (Ronan’s birthday, nogal) and at SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria on Sunday, March 5.
