Hundreds of schoolkids descended on an unsuspecting family’s home after a Snapchat invitation to a ‘mansion rager’ went viral. Predictably, the result was a lot like the plot for a Seth Rogan movie as kids invaded the house and did what kids do best – destroy shit.
Fox reports that the unidentified homeowner was left horrified as he raced to home to find line upon line of cars along the street and vehicles roaring past as the rowdy teens made their getaway. The gate to the property was destroyed and the front door was wide open with all the lights on.
“We started receiving numerous phone calls from our neighbors that there were kids on our water tower on our property, there were cars up and down the street, and kids were hopping over the front of our fence.”
This definitely wasn’t a case of someone mentioning that ‘their parents were away for the weekend’, as the owner of the trashed house only had a toddler who wasn’t even in school yet. How the property was identified as the site for a ‘rager’ is unknown, and police are investigating the home invasion. The party seemed to have been a jol though.
“They had beer cans, the seltzer cans, like White Claw. I saw they had thrown like avocados at the wall, there was damage to sheetrock and baseboards. They had thrown tools through the sheetrock of our garage. They had my daughter’s toys scattered around the property.”
This appears to be a growing trend among the restless youth of America as another similar incident took place in Florida last year. Teenagers broke into an $8 Million mansion and held themselves one hell of a party. The revellers also stole some goodies in that case, amongst other things stealing a $1 500 bottle of wine, a $3 500 Yves Saint Laurent purse and a football signed by Hall of Fame NFL quarterback Peyton Manning.
“There seems to be little consequences for these actions, and I feel like it’ll keep getting worse if we don’t get to the bottom of things like this. It was horrifying. I mean, it was just an unbelievable total violation of one’s privacy,”

My dad would have taken my gatvelle off with a belt, that’s for sure. Offspring once had a hit with ‘The Kids Are All Right‘. Guess they weren’t talking about these kids.
