Brunch is always better when it’s a bit boozy.
Make that happen in one of the most gorgeous parts of our country, the Franschhoek Winelands, and you’ll have yourself the mother of all brunches.
On a handful of Sundays through the year, Anthonij Rupert Wyne delights in hosting a special L’Ormarins Cap Classique Brunch for guests on the terrace of Anthonij Rupert Tasting room.
Imagine a cool breeze bellowing in from the Franschhoek valley, carrying with it the delicious smell of freshly roasted coffee and then, the sound of bubbles, delicately climbing the glass before tantalising your tongue.
I know, I should be a romance writer for bubbly.
The L’Ormarins Cap Classique Brunch begins at 10AM on the lush terrace, with that aforementioned freshly roasted coffee from a local roastery, or if you’d rather, a sampling of a variety of special Premier Cru teas, to start the day.
What follows is a delectable four-course brunch paired with individual wines from our L’Ormarins Cap Classique Range. Scroll to see what you could be in for:
