‘The Oprah of YouTube’ is at it again.
MrBeast, the American YouTuber known for his elaborate stunts and insane giveaways, came up with another crazy prize challenge featuring a $2,5 million private jet.
All the participants had to do was come out at the end of a rather bizarre game of endurance.
Robb Report noted that MrBeast, AKA Jimmy Donaldson, gathered the 11 social media stars at London Southend Airport and made them hold their hand on the jet, with the last one standing (and touching the jet) taking the aircraft home with them.
The winner would have to donate the aircraft, which appears to be an old Hawker 800, to someone who needed it more than they did, though.
To make things interesting, the participants were made to do laps around the jet and keep their hands on it as it rolled down the runway. MrBeast even tried to tempt some into quitting with offers of spending money on the spot.
The contestants were also allowed to try and goad their fellow competitors into leaving, which means there was a lot of screaming and irritating noises.
Enjoy:
Harry “W2S” Lewis was the last with a hand on the plane after 18 excruciating hours and decided to give the private jet to his brother and sister.
Sneaky smart.
MrBeast rented out the entire airport to film the viral video, which currently has more than 56 million views.
MrBeast’s giving nature even extended to the potential environmental impact of the challenge as he made a reforestation donation to the Arbor Day Foundation to offset anything negative.
Although he didn’t provide specifics, he also promised to offset any carbon emissions created by the jet in the future.
He clearly has a bottomless well of money to spend.
