Computer security is something that all of us should be taking seriously. The problem is, remembering a password that looks like it was chosen by your cat walking across your keyboard proves a little more difficult than you might like. PC Magazine has just published a list of the worst passwords of 2011.

SplashData, a password management app maker, compiled the list of the 25 worst passwords of 2011, based on millions of stolen passwords that were dumped online. Typically after hackers compromise a server, like Sony’s or CIA.gov’s, they post all these personal details online. Here are some of the highlights:

iloveyou

qazwsx

baseball

dragon

superman

If that’s one of yours, I suggest changing it. It’s probably not safe. Whilst having a tricky password may not stop a dedicated hacker, it will prevent your significant other from checking on your browsing history.
