I don’t watch horror movies, or else I lie awake at night and every noise freaks me out.

That’s a roundabout way of saying I would be entirely useless in the case of a home invasion.

I definitely wouldn’t go rushing outside in the wee hours to confront two burglars, so props to this man in Alberton, in Gauteng’s East Rand, for doing just that.

We really don’t know much about this story other than the information provided by anti-crime activist Yusuf Abramjee, who says that one arrest was made.

In the footage with a timestamp showing 5:51 AM, you can see the homeowner emerge around the 55-second mark to nab one burglar while the other flees from the property:

A closer inspection shows the man dishing out the hits is wearing very tight shorts. This is how you know he’s not taking kak from anybody.

He’s probably a fan of the ‘Two-Tone Lyf‘.
