EFC 92, which took place at the EFC Performance Institute in Jozi on Saturday night, will be remembered for the horrific snapped leg suffered by heavyweight Willem Smith.
During his fight against Ivan Strydom, which was the first of the night, Smith threw an outside leg kick and came off second best.
Strydom’s left leg remained planted and as Smith stepped backwards and put weight on his leg, he collapsed to the floor.
Credit to the referee who noticed what had happened and stepped in immediately.

Ouch is correct.
Not that it’s really his fault, but GiveMeSport reports that Smith’s EFC pro record now stands at a disappointing one win and five losses.
At least he was in decent spirits later in the evening:
