Nobody knows how many lovers, or children, or how much money, for that matter, Vladimir Putin has.
He is notoriously private, avoiding questions about his personal affairs and snapping that he’s “always had a negative feeling about people poking their snotty noses and erotic fantasies into other people’s lives”.
While there are claims that a woman named Svetlana Krivonogikh is (one of) his lover(s), everybody is talking about another of his mistresses with whom he allegedly has four children.
According to Page Six, Putin has his Olympic gold-winning former gymnast lover, Alina Kabaeva, and their four young children hidden in Switzerland:
“While Putin carries out his assault on the Ukraine, attacking innocent citizens and causing a refugee crisis, his family is holed up in a very private and very secure chalet somewhere in Switzerland – for now, at least,” a source told us.
Although the couple has never officially confirmed it, sources say they share seven-year-old twin daughters (who were born near Lugano, Switzerland, in February 2015), as well as two sons.
The sources also allege that the kids, and Kabaeva, all have Swiss passports.
It is known that he has two adult daughters, Maria (36) and Katerina (35), from his first marriage to former flight attendant Lyudmila Shkrebneva:
His adult children haven’t been in the media much, and he doesn’t really refer to them ever – causing more confusion about how many children he actually has.
At the time of Putin and Shkrebneva’s divorce in 2013, the media was saying that they split because of Putin’s relationship with Kabaeva, who he was going to marry.
But the Kremlin denied that story and shut down the newspaper that spread the news.
Nevertheless, the rumours about Putin and Kabaeva continued, including that they were married in a private Russian Orthodox ceremony.
Dubbed “Russia’s most flexible woman”, Kabaeva is one of the most decorated gymnasts in rhythmic gymnastic history, with two Olympic medals, 14 World Championship medals, and 21 European Championship medals:
The New York Post has more:
It was at the height of her athletic fame — notching a bronze medal in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and a gold medal in Athens four years later — that the then-married Putin, himself a judo and ice hockey enthusiast, first met Kabaeva, The Sunday Times has reported.
She even posed nude once, wrapped in animal fur, for a men’s magazine.
Imagine this photo but with far less clothing:
In 2008, she first became Russia’s rumoured “Secret First Lady”:
Kabaeva went on to become a pro-Kremlin member of parliament for eight years, and in 2014 was appointed by the Kremlin to run the state-owned National Media Group, with a reported salary of $10 million a year.
Kabaeva was reported to have had a fleet of luxury cars and security services at her beck and call:
Meanwhile, Putin’s first wife and their daughters are rumoured to be hidden in a luxury “underground city” in Siberia, designed for protection in the event of a nuclear war.
Although, that news comes from political scientist Valery Solovey, who has previously been known for spreading conspiracy theories.
Honestly, when it comes to Putin, who knows…
