The third season of Rickey Gervais’ After Life rolls out on Netflix today. Let’s start with that trailer:

Some touching moments interspersed with Gervais’ customary foul mouth.

In case you haven’t seen the first two seasons Deadline has the basics:

Set in the small fictitious town of Tambury, the show follows Tony, a writer for the local newspaper whose life is upended after his wife dies from cancer. While still struggling with immense grief, Tony starts to realise that making other people feel good is what can give him hope and a reason to live. After all, every end is a new beginning.

Go back, tick off seasons one and two, and you’re good to go.

You know what the world needs? More Batman movies, said nobody ever.

But I guess they keep making money because The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz, is headed our way.

The first trailer was released last October and now we have a look at ‘The Bat and The Cat’ via NME:

The DC movie, which stars Pattinson as Batman, is set to arrive on March 4, 2022 and was directed by Matt Reeves.

In the latest preview of The Batman, the action centres on Batman and Catwoman’s relationship. In the two-and-a-half-minute video, it shows Zoë Kravitz’s Catwoman (also known as Selina Kyle) telling Batman: “If we don’t stand up, no one will.”

Paul Dano plays The Riddler:

There are some rumours that The Joker may feature but that has yet to be confirmed.

That rivals Clark Kent and his ‘glasses off’ transformation into Superman.

Finally, let’s take a closer look at The Foo Fighters’ new horror-comedy, starring Dave Grohl and the rest of the band.

The premise: the Foo Fighters decide to record their landmark 10th album in a creepy old mansion in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley and quickly realize the place is just a little bit haunted. This movie looks like it could be super fun…

As stated in the trailer, Studio 666 is based on a story by Grohl but is directed by BJ McDonnell (Hatchet III) from a script by Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes…

All of which means, this is like… a real movie.

Whether or not it’s a movie worth watching remains to be seen:

Studio 666 will premiere in US theatres from February 25.
