Can you believe that the stunning mountain range above is right on our doorstep in Mozambique?
You’re looking at the expansive and diverse Chimanimani National Park, in the central province of Manica, with an impressive array of rare and endemic plant and animal species, ready for some eco-trekking in 2022.
According to National Geographic‘s list of the best destinations to visit in the new year, this spot in Mozambique ranked quite high in the Sustainability category.
The magazine covered five categories for its ‘Best of World 2022’ list – Nature, Adventure, Sustainability, Culture and History, and Family:
This year’s list celebrates a number of World Heritage sites in honor of UNESCO’s 50 years of helping to safeguard cultural and natural treasures.
