Beyoncé and Jay-Z have had better things to do than attend the MTV VMAs or Met Gala.
Not that they missed much besides Conor McGregor getting involved in a bizarre altercation with rapper Machine Gun Kelly, or not talking to Kim Kardashian who was tied up in a truly bizarre Met Gala look.
Instead, they’ve been bopping around on one of the world’s largest superyachts available to charter, the Flying Fox, which is costing them roughly $4 million (around R58 million) per week.
Beyoncé turned 40 on September 4, so it was only right that they took to the Mediterranean seas for a vacation.
Per House Beautiful, it’s rumoured that Jeff Bezos bought the palatial yacht, which cost a reported $400 million to build, although other sources say he’s not the owner.
Either way, Beyoncé and Jay-Z appear to be enjoying it for all it’s worth, travelling around Italy and France, having been spotted in Cannes earlier this week.
The couple’s three children, Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir, are also aboard. Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, joined them later in Cannes.
Here’s flex number one:

The boat is equipped with everything the family would need for the ultimate getaway:
There are 55 crew members, many of whom are dual-trained to be chefs, housekeepers, medics, dive instructors, hairdressers, and more.
The ship has several decks—including a helipad on the roof—and the amenities feature a vast spa pool, cryosauna, gym, submarine, and water sports equipment (to name a few!).
Oh, and the yacht is so big that it even has its own support yacht.
Actually, it seems it comes with more than one helipad, per Forbes:
The exterior also is equipped two helicopter landing pads, one on the bridge deck and another on the sun deck aft, that makes it possible to for owners and guests to use multiple helicopters.
Here’s Observer, adding more:
The plush spa has oak paneling and heated limestone floors, and is equipped with a hammam, sauna and a massive pool, plus a cryosauna.
There’s also a fancy gym, movie theater, a formal living room as well as a dining room with an aquarium.
The owner’s suite has its own sitting room, beauty room and double dressing rooms, in addition to an ethanol fireplace.
Suffice to say, the couple has every reason to show off on the ‘Gram:

Yeah, a $400 million yacht is a way better backdrop for all those looks than the famous Met steps.
