There are many reasons to hate on James Corden, the talk show host who loves to sing and is often accused of inserting himself into places that would arguably be way better off without him.
His Carpool Karaoke segments on The Late Late Show might be a big hit, but Netflix’s The Prom, and maybe even Cats the musical, would have been better off without him.
That’s certainly the case with the flash mob that held up traffic in Los Angeles on Friday.
Corden, dressed as a giant mouse, performed Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Let’s Get Loud’ along with the cast of the upcoming Cinderella remake, which included Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel, Minnie Driver, Pierce Brosnan, and Billy Porter.
A driver who had a front-row seat to this unfortunate show posted a clip to Twitter, with Corden doing a very serious hip-thrusting move somewhere amidst the chaos.
The clip has since gone viral with jokes, criticism, and other hilarious commentaries attached, per Consequence.
I think if you cover part of your eyes like you’re supposed to when watching a horror you can get through the whole clip unscathed:

The first few seconds of this video shows the scene from another vantage point, with the infamous hip-thrust coming in at the eight-second mark:
Moving on to those aforementioned jokes and criticisms:

Seeing James Corden in a rat costume one more time will be the start of my villain origin story.

It’s so rare for everyone on the internet to hate one thing and for that thing to be the worst thing ever made https://t.co/s94Lx2fryO

Someone even dubbed another song over the footage which makes it really feel apocalyptic:

James Corden would rather stop LA traffic in a mouse costume than go to therapy

James Corden is the most “worked with the robots to betray the humans and get put back into the Matrix as a famous actor” person who has ever existed

If you’re still into it, after all that, Cinderella will be on Amazon Prime on September 3.
