Once you go down the Amazon wormhole, there’s no coming back.
Much like how you pop onto YouTube to watch that one movie clip, and an hour later you’re watching the greatest arrest video of all time, Amazon is a strange place if you start snooping.
Thankfully, Bustle has done the legwork, finding weird products “that are actually useful AF”, so I don’t have to spend my day digging around.
Not all of the products listed below ship to South Africa, but that’s not a trainwreck. Using Postbox Courier, you can have them sent to a single US address.
Within three to five days of arrival at that address, they’ll be shipped over as a single delivery and touch down at your front door, and you can start putting them to use.
First up, the Bloofah:
Featuring easy-to-grip handles, this ergonomic two-sided loofah makes exfoliating hard-to-reach areas like the back, shoulders, and neck a breeze, while an ultra-soft cotton outer layer helps soothe dry skin.
This loofah also works well on feet and can help you slough away dead skin cells and other harmful stuff chilling on skin’s surface. It’s also great to apply creams on your back or even self-tanner.
I think that’s useful, so I must officially be an adult now.
Sticking with the cleaning theme, here’s the Sticky Jelly Gel Compound Dust Wiper Cleaner:
You probably don’t want to think about how dirty and germ-ridden your keyboard really is (think toilet-levels of bacteria), but the good news is that this pile of goo works like magic over keyboards, smartphones, and other electronics to get rid of dust, dirt, and germs.
Just stick this sticky gel over surfaces for a few minutes and remove it, and you’ll be amazed at how much it picks up. If you store it in the original bag and keep it away from the sun, it’s also reusable.
As somebody who is guilty of eating in front of my laptop, I reckon I’ll be dredging out more than a few crumbs.
Do you know what your shower is lacking? Music.
Let’s get that sorted out, using the Bidet4me Msh-10 Music Showerhead Waterproof Speaker:
This showerhead plus speaker combo is compatible with most smartphones, and is Bluetooth-enabled and waterproof so you can listen to music or podcasts in the shower.
It also comes equipped with a built-in microphone (so you can take calls in the shower) and is USB-rechargeable, carrying eight hours per single charge.
There’s also the added bonus of the showerhead itself saving up to 30% more water than a standard one.
Perfect for when Day Zero, round two, rolls around.
Finally, because life is a constant source from stress from the moment of waking until trying to fall asleep, a massager to help promote relaxation.
Enter the Anself Massage Roller Relax Ball:
Whether you’ve got aches and pains or you’re just looking to unwind after a rough day, this massaging back roller helps relieve muscle soreness and tension, improve circulation, and eliminate fatigue.
For added relief, one reviewer recommends using this with Tiger Balm, which helps the ball roll more freely, and others love to use it for a quick massage after a workout.
You could also use Deep Heat.
I am of the belief that massaging devices work best when you let out long, loud moans during use, so don’t hold back.
You’ve earned your relaxation. Don’t be ashamed.
If that doesn’t help you unwind, you could also try a few stress-relieving toys.
Other items on Bustle’s list include oven mitts, a salt lamp, floor-cleaning slippers, and self-chilling wine glasses.
