This, my friends is what they’ve conjured up to replace the F430. I call it the Ferrari 458 Italia. This one is powered by 562 free-range horses and 325km/h is what it does when it’s bored. The 0-100km/h dash records a time of under 3.4 seconds. that’s pretty quick. To give you an idea, that’s pretty much what I saw Gibbs run the hundred in at school.

Pretty tit, hey? Ja, I thought so too. I like what they’ve done there with the lights in the front. And that grill? Mmm, mm…you could almost definitely make more friends with a car like this. And that’s on looks alone.

For the rest who won’t make friends with you, just mention to them that the 4.5-liter, direct injection V8 with 562 HP delivers 398 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 RPM with 80% torque coming in at 3,250 RPM. That’s 52 HP more than the standard F430. Quite something… if I knew what it all meant.

Hmm, we are reminded of the F40‘s triple exhaust system there – which I don’t mind at all. Nice. Real nice. And for some reason the side made me think of the Ferrari Enzo? Yes, yes, very nice..

Speaking of which, I found out just this week, that the youngest owner of an Enzo in the world is just down the road from where I am in Los Angeles. Ja, the guy’s 23 in human years and plays hockey. Go figure. Read more about that here.
