South Africans who follow Lee-Ann Liebenberg on Instagram spent Friday night trying to piece together various bits of information, as the model announced that she would be parting ways with her husband, Nicky van der Walt.
The two have been married for 10 years, and recently had their third child together.
Liebenberg made the announcement via Instagram Stories, and even went as far as to tag another woman, implying that there was infidelity.
This story is best told through screenshots, so here we begin:
Social media lit up, with people suggesting Lee-Ann may have been hacked.
That was quickly shot down, and the name of another woman was mentioned:
Twitter user @JadenLungi managed to grab some images of the woman, before her social media accounts were either deleted or made private.
This has done the rounds on Twitter:
After an outpouring of support online, Lee-Ann added this to her Instagram Story:
However, according to Nicky, the two are not getting a divorce and Lee-Ann is suffering from “deep” post-partum depression:

According to The Sowetan, neither has responded to requests for comment.
I really don’t care about all of this, and there’s a good chance you don’t either.
But I guess when you live your life in the public eye, and post private details to your Instagram account on a Friday night while South Africa is living under lockdown, this is what happens.
Here’s hoping everyone comes out of this okay.
UPDATE: Lee-Ann posted this update to her Instagram Story on Monday evening:
