33-year-old Peter Sefako has been charged with reckless and negligent driving, and driving while under the influence of alcohol, after his attempts to ram his vehicle into Rosebanks News Café last Friday night.
Sefako’s name has been released after his court appearance on Monday.
It is believed that he tried to crash his car into the premises because his ex-girlfriend, who some allege works at the restaurant, didn’t want to talk with him.
Security had previously removed Sefako, according to a statement from News Café, after he entered and “proceeded to insult, antagonise and intimidate our patrons”.
Footage has now been circulated on social media showing what occurred. You can see security attempting to stop Sefako, but he forges ahead anyway:
If that doesn’t work, you can find the same video here.
What a total, and toxic, doos.
