Do I want to write a story about Piers Morgan?
No, he gets off on being the centre of attention, whether the coverage is good or bad.
Do I want to write another story that essentially centres around the interview that Harry and Meghan did with Oprah?
Also, no. I’m sure you’re getting over these stories, but bear with us until we can all move on from this.
I’ll keep things brief, with the help of The Independent:
Piers Morgan walked off the set of Good Morning Britain midway through filming this morning (9 March) after co-star Alex Beresford condemned his recent comments about Meghan Markle…
His remarks were widely criticised by his co-presenters and on social media, with broadcaster ITV also being called “hypocritical” for allowing him to “cast aspersions” while also running the mental health campaign Get Britain Talking.
Beresford pointed out that having been ghosted by Markle, Piers has never really recovered.
Then, just like that, Piers was off:
If that video doesn’t work, you can watch the same footage below:

He loves grilling guests that appear on the show, but turn the tables and voila, he disappears.
After being widely ridiculed on social media, Piers responded to some of the criticism:
Agreed. I was annoyed, went for a little cool-down, and came back to finish the discussion. https://t.co/UzPWYkdmeE

No, it was real. But the debate that followed was very strong, so worth a bit of @GMB family tension. https://t.co/Sj4qTsAzKU

According to reports, a senior executive at ITV has talked to Morgan about his nonstop criticism of Meghan since the interview first aired.
Much like many royal commentators, his mind was made up long before he actually watched the interview in its entirety.
I sincerely hope that is the last time we talk about this chap for a while.
