How about that view?
Fresh sea air, the relative quiet of Kalk Bay (except on weekends), and boats returning to the harbour with fish that you can be eating within the hour.
We want it.
If you do, too, then you’re going to need to fork out R13,75 million (let’s call it R14 million after transfer duties and the like, so we’re being kind) to call the three-bedroom apartment home.
The listing on Property24 adds that it has three bathrooms, two garages, and 180m² of space:
This gorgeous top floor apartment has sweeping views over False bay and Kalk bay harbour. There is a spacious terrace overlooking the sea which the kitchen and living room spill onto.
Downstairs has an entrance hall open plan kitchen, dining and living room and a generous main bedroom with full ensuite bathroom. Upstairs has a further 2 bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms.
Situated in the original Majestic Hotel in the Majestic Village. There is excellent security with 24/7 access control, a communal swimming pool and gym and 2 dedicated basement parking bays.
Before you ask, the price includes the contents and furniture, which was “expertly chosen by a top interior designer to compliment this stunning space”.
Great, but if it’s OK with you, I may do away with this painting:
Let’s see a few more snaps:
There had to be one room that faced the road, I suppose.
No worries – just head to the terrace and take this in:
Marvellous.
You could probably throw a slaptjip off there to a passing seagull, but then you run the risk of attracting a mob of hungry birds, and sitting on the terrace turns into a scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds.
