As President Ramaphosa pointed out in last night’s ‘family meeting’, we need to be doing everything that we can right now to stay healthy.
The usual measures apply, like wearing a mask and sanitising our hands.
As always, even when there isn’t a pandemic, we should also be taking care of ourselves, and staying as healthy as possible.
Exercise, eating a vegetable every now and then, and incorporating more vitamins and minerals into our daily diets is a good place to start. If those vitamins come in a tasty package, even better.
The combination of lemon and ginger has traditionally been used to soothe the digestive system, settle the stomach, and relieve nausea with immune-boosting support.
So the masterminds over at Sir Fruit decided to blend ginger with lemon and apple juices to create the perfect flavour balance and for an extra boost, incorporated vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, C, D and E into the recipe for their latest creation, Gingerade+.
That’s 100% of the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of added vitamins, which means that it ticks just about every box if you’re looking for an arsenal of the good stuff to keep you on top of your game.
Here’s a word from Sir Fruit’s Head of Marketing, Roanne Goldsmith, on why the company decided to put their team to work on their latest creation:
“A strong immune system is so important right now and our aim was to play our part in helping people stay healthy. Creating healthy and delicious drinks are at the core of who we are and we’re very excited with the end result!”
It tastes really good, too, which is rare when it comes to things that are actually good for you.
(Just ask anybody who was forced to eat Brussels sprouts growing up.)
If you’re keen to stock your fridge so that you can start every day with a boost, you’ll find Gingerade+ in any store worth its salt, and on the Sir Fruit/Sir Fresh website.
While you’re there, take a look around at their range of smoothies, health shots, and cold-pressed juices.
Your body will thank you.
