This past weekend, Mike Tyson returned to the ring to face off against Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout announced back in July.

Given that the 54-year-old Tyson last fought in 2005, and 51-year-old Jones last fought in 2018, it was never really going to be a classic.

After eight two-minute rounds, the fight was unofficially ruled a draw by the WBC judges at ringside.

The two boxers did land some solid body blows, but for many, the star of the night was actually one of the men calling the fight, Snoop Dogg.

On social media, Snoop was widely praised for livening up a bout that had long spells of clutching and hugging, including some insight into what a Dogg family barbecue is like:

During the night’s undercard fight, between former NBA player Nate Robinson and YouTuber Jake Paul, Snoop was also in fine form:

After seeing Robinson being knocked to the canvas, the rapper bust out a little gospel:

To be fair to Robinson, Jake Paul has some experience in the ring.

Was Snoop high as a kite? I mean, does a bear do its business in the woods?

Here’s a tiny snippet from his musical performance on the night:

Never change, Snoop.
