If you thought we had experienced everything ‘unprecedented’ that could be experienced in a year, this may well push you over the edge. For the first time ever, 2oceansvibe is declaring summer open by default.
Anyone familiar with 2oceansvibe’s ‘Summer Declaration’ policies will be aware that we declare summer open every year, as soon as the WeatherPro app shows a full week of sun icons (no clouds whatsoever) for Cape Town.
This usually happens in October or November. Bizarrely (or not, given 2020), this has not occurred this year. The 2oceansvibe Summer Declaration by-laws do allow for this rare anomaly, by way of a forced Summer Declaration, no later than November 30.
It is Seth’s wont to call upon the summer Gods to make it so. It’s also a day before the official meteorological season start date, to ensure we’re ahead.
On that note, we hereby declare summer open!
Now, about those FREE ice lollies! They’re serving a dual purpose this year. Not only are they perfect to cool you down on those hot summer days, but they’re also a fantastic palate cleanser, as the world changes course once again.
Whether that is to do with an imminent COVID vaccine, or a new leader of the free world, I think we all have a desire to cleanse our palates!
Everyone is eligible to claim their ice lollies, and it’s rather easy.
Simply mention the promo code ‘2OVsummer’ when placing your order with Butler’s Pizza, and you’re good to go.
A free lolly with every pizza ordered – lovely.
The free ice lolly sensation will run until there are no ice lollies left, and will run alongside any existing Butler’s Pizza deals.
You’re welcome. Enjoy the summer!
