If something weird is going to happen, it’s probably going to happen in Florida.
Lately, most of the absurd antics of locals have been confined to politics.
Florida is a swing state, and home to some voters who seem to have fallen down the misinformation rabbit hole.
If you live in the area, you might want to mask up because things aren’t looking too rosy in the so-called Sunshine State.
Moving on to lighter things, albeit still in the realm of the ridiculous, and a photoshoot this past Friday that went horribly wrong.
A group of people on a boat forgot to pay attention to, well, the boat.
The incident took place on the St. Lucie River, according to a Facebook post from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
The Daily Beast reports that three men were doing a photoshoot on the 24-foot vessel when they somehow fell overboard.
The boat then sped around in circles, forcing the men to repeatedly dive underwater so they could wouldn’t be run over. At some point, the boat changed direction, slammed into a concrete dock, went airborne, and then hit another dock before finally stopping.
The boaters managed to swim ashore, with only minor injuries sustained, so it’s okay to have a chuckle at the chaos.
There’s no sound for the first 30 seconds or so:
Clearly, no one was doing their best work that day.
