There are countless women around the world who wish that Ghislaine Maxwell had never met Jeffrey Epstein.
I’m sure the now-dead convicted paedophile would have found someone else to help him procure and traffic underage girls, but Maxwell certainly had a knack for aiding Epstein’s operations.
According to the latest Broken: Seeking Justice podcast, the now notorious duo were actually introduced as far back as 1988, and it was Maxwell’s father, tabloid empire owner Robert, who was behind that meeting.
Forbes reports below:
Two additional sources backed up the claim that Robert Maxwell was the person who brought his prized daughter together with Epstein, including a former Epstein staffer who was told by Ghislaine Maxwell while she forced them to look at eight albums’ worth of photos from her father’s funeral.
Ghislaine Maxwell told the staffer that Epstein was someone who could take care of her “emotionally,” and was firm that his finances weren’t the source of her interest, according to the podcast, which aligns with reports that the pair dated at one point, and remained friends.
Robert Maxwell [with Ghislaine at a football match in 1984 above] might have been a source of Epstein’s wealth, according to the podcast, citing a 2010 deposition from bookkeeper Maritza Vasquez in a Florida civil lawsuit, in which she says Maxwell “started” Epstein’s money, a claim only previously reported by tabloid The Sun through an anonymous source.
Robert Maxwell died under mysterious circumstances in late 1991, and it’s presumed that he fell overboard whilst out yachting on ‘Lady Ghislaine’, the boat he had named for his daughter.
If I was Maxwell’s current husband, and she wasn’t locked up behind bars and returned home, I’d be worried about some serious Carole Baskin vibes.
The above claims are backed up by a photo, taken 19 days after Robert’s death, showing Ghislaine and Epstein in conversation.
There’s also the small matter of a missing $590 million:
That’s how much of the pension funds stolen by Robert Maxwell from his Mirror Group publishing company went missing after his mysterious 1991 death…
The podcast raises questions about where his money got off to after he died, since it’s never been recovered. At the time of his August 2019 death by suicide, Epstein’s assets totaled $578 million dollars. And Ghislaine Maxwell had $20 million to her name at the time of her July arrest, according to prosecutors.
The source of Epstein’s wealth has been the subject of great speculation, and even the Netflix documentary that dug deep struggled to find how he came to be so rich without leaving much of a business footprint.
While we’re here, and talking about these horrid humans, let’s also cover what author Ingrid Seward’s biography of Prince Philip, simply titled Prince Philip Revealed, has to say about his son, Prince Andrew.
Detailing how the Duke of York came to be so taken with Epstein and Maxwell, Seward writes that it was Maxwell’s “worldly sophistication” that first drew Andrew in.
Below from Newsweek:
Seward writes: “His ex-wife Sarah introduced him to the late Sir Robert Maxwell’s daughter Ghislaine and Andrew was fascinated by her worldly sophistication.
“Ghislaine, in turn, introduced the duke to a previously out-of-bounds, raunchy international lifestyle, and he was fascinated by it.”
‘Raunchy’ is an interesting description to use when talking about parties that routinely featured underage girls who were victims of international sex trafficking.
Seward says the Duke was naive in that he didn’t realise Maxwell, in particular, was using him to gain credibility.
After the allegations of Prince Andrew’s involvement became public knowledge, Prince Philip was not a happy man:
Seward describes how Philip was so distressed by Andrew’s behavior he felt his son’s upbringing was “woefully inadequate.”
She added: “For Philip and the Queen, their son’s failure of judgment was a tragedy.
“Not only had he besmirched the reputation of the monarchy but had become involved in something extremely distasteful and far more serious.”
‘Extremely distasteful’ is an interesting description to use when talking about… well, you get my drift.
What shame will they bring upon the Royal Family next, I wonder?
