Despite the release of the first official No Time To Die trailer in December last year, it still feels like we’ve been waiting forever for the latest film in the James Bond franchise to come out.
That trailer was followed by yet another trailer in February this year, but still no release date, and it started to feel like we were going to watch the entire film in a series of previews before it ever made it to cinemas.
You would have been forgiven for thinking that No Time To Die was dead in the water.
Now there’s another trailer, only this time the end is in sight, and while we don’t have an exact date, we do know that it’s likely to open in November.
Strap in – this one has ramped up the action:
Huffington Post seem rather excited about the long-awaited film, and its latest trailer.
He dodges speeding cars, swings off a bridge, makes out, and gets one of those delightfully pretentious declarations from the villain.
“We both eradicate people to make the world a better place,” Oscar winner Rami Malek’s Safin says. “I just want to be a little tidier.”
The “new double 0” Lashana Lynch also makes an appearance, but without providing any clues as to whether she really is the new 007.
In case you forgot, this film starts with Bond in retirement.
I hope the new 007 is a woman, if only for the Twitter meltdown from those who haven’t caught up with gender equality just yet.
Look out for the release date as we edge closer to November.
It won’t be long, now.
