I was invited to an exhibition in Johannesburg which I’m unable to attend as I’ll be out of the country (I’ll tell you about that at a later stage – think Los Angeles). The background and story about the exhibition was so impressive that I was compelled to tell you about it – especially our Jozi 2oceansvibers who may well want to attend.
How this vibe – for the last 9 months these guys have been involved in setting up a non-profit organisation, Umuzi, which puts cameras into the hands of kids from developing communities to help them tell their stories to the world.
Pretty rad, hey? I think it’s genius!
It’s called the Umuzi Photo Club and you can check out their website here.
The exhibition is on 30 July and all 2oceansvibers are invited.
For catering purposes, please RSVP indicating if
and with how many guests you will be attending.
