Ridley Scott has been busy lately.
He’s producing content at a rate that puts most of us to shame.
For those of you who were hoping to feature in his upcoming documentary Life in a Day 2, I’m sorry to say you’ve missed the deadline to submit your footage.
You can, however, enjoy his new upcoming series, which takes the director back to his sci-fi roots, and the viewer on a wild ride through a post-apocalyptic hellscape.
I’m intrigued.
Engadget with more:
Scott directed Raised by Wolves’ first two episodes, making it his directorial debut for TV, while Prisoners’ Aaron Guzikowski served as showrunner and writer.
The trailer comes with a brief synopsis of the show that says: “Mother was programmed to protect everyone after Earth had been destroyed. When the big bad wolf shows up, she is the one we must trust.”
The trailer gives you a better sense of the creep factor:
Provided nothing bursts out of anyone’s chest in the series, I’m all set to binge this as soon as it hits screens on September 3, 2020.
