I’m not ashamed to admit that in my teens, I once ate two entire large pizzas on my own.
In fact, I’m proud of it, and I also managed to get in a few bites of the focaccia bread that came with the pizzas, before the guilt set in.
Despite the fact that I find it near to impossible to choose between the Funky Fabb and the Big Cheese Blue, I now limit myself to one large pizza at a time, and am suitably stuffed at the end of it all.
World hot-dog-eating champion Joey Chestnut would be disgusted with my weak appetite (yes, that’s a real title), and he recently took part in a challenge to singlehandedly eat the largest slice of pizza in the world.
Chestnut was up against YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) and his pals, Chris and Chandler, in an attempt to level the playing field.
I suggest watching the start of the video, skipping through the middle, and then watching from the 6:20 mark again.
Your man Joey gained around 9,5 kilograms from eating the behemoth:
I love pizza with all of my heart, but I’m not sure I would want to play any part in an eating challenge like this.
Nah, I’ll stick to Butler’s Pizza, have it delivered to my door, and avoid having to deal with anyone other than the delivery guy.
Two larges with three toppings each for R200 is a good deal, though. I mean, could I still eat two larges on my own, if I had to?
Carpe diem.
