Even though I’m well into what some would call adulthood, I still have the occasional dream involving flight.

They don’t usually involve wingsuits, because as much as it looks like fun (the Drakensberg effort from last year in particular), the margin for error is just too small for comfort.

That has never stopped some of the world’s foremost daredevils from having a bash, and GoPro recently released a compilation of their top 10 ‘Human Flight moments’.

Each of the examples shows people with a high degree of expertise in what they do, but it still makes for some nerve-wracking moments.

Thankfully, I’m watching the video at home in my pyjamas, so the risk is minimal:
