You may not be able to wander along Camps Bay beach under alert level 3, but you can still get a taste of your favourite food from the strip.
As of last week, Café Caprice is back in the game, and they’re open for collection and deliveries.
For those who are fans of their burgers (we’ve spoken about this), today’s the day to dip a toe in the water, with their Burgers & Bubbly Tuesday Special.
Any two burgers off the menu, and a bottle of bubbly, for R350 – tick.
You can order food directly from the Café on Monday to Sunday, from 11:30AM to 8:30PM (collection or R20 delivery fee), and you can order liquor through them on Monday through Thursday, 9AM to 5PM (collection or R30 delivery fee).
When ordering for delivery or collection, you’ll select the time slot you desire, with deliveries available to those who live within a six-kilometre radius of Café Caprice.
There’s nothing to stop you from making a trip down the strip to collect your goodies, though. It’s a nice excuse to at least hear the waves breaking, even if setting foot on the beach is still not allowed under alert level 3.
To see the full menu (food and liquor), head to Café Caprice’s website and treat yourself.
