You may never have heard of Skynamo, but they’re now $30 million (around R434 million) richer, thanks to securing a sizeable investment from American software investor Five Elms Capital.

More from BusinessTech:
The startup serves its customers from its Stellenbosch, Johannesburg, Durban and London offices and has chosen Atlanta as its US headquarters.

GPS technology provides managers with a real-time view of sales activity and sales rep effectiveness in the field, so they can coach their reps remotely.
Skynamo has also integrated popular accounting software, such as Xero and Quickbooks, in order to assist those reps who work on the road.
Fred Coulson, a managing partner at Five Elms, believes big things lie ahead:
“We’ve backed Skynamo because we are convinced it has the perfect combination of strong value proposition and a relentless culture of delighting both customers and employees to become the leader in field sales technology,” said Fred…
Skynamo, which was founded in 2012 and was formerly known as Honeybee CRM, employs an estimated 65 people across its local and international offices.
