Over in Australia, the country is being brought to its knees by massive bushfires which threaten the country’s way of life.
Here at home, parts of the country are currently without water (as in past Day Zero), and we’ve also seen footage of a tornado tearing through KZN.
Or two tornadoes, depending on who you believe.
For one family in Mpumalanga, who filmed this video in Panbult, between Ermelo and Piet Retief on Friday, it was a terrifying ordeal watching the latest tornado grow in strength.
Below from News24:
“There is some indication that it was a supercell storm… there are characteristics that it might have been a tornado,” Bipuo Tawana for SAWS [South African Weather Service] told News24.
According to Storm Report who posted the video, “the tornado looks like it was a multi-vortex tornado”.
Here’s the footage shot by Charlene Kotze:

⚠BREAKING

Whilst it will come as scant consolation to Charlene, at least it wasn’t a so-called ‘fire devil’ or ‘fire whirl’. This video from Australia:
Certifiably terrifying.
