Donald Trump loves mixing it with the big boys.
He really loves it if you’re a strongman dictator who rules with an iron fist and stifles free speech, a la Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, because Donnie wishes he could punish the likes of CNN and the Washington Post for exposing him for the fool that he is.
He’s never been good at taking a joke (or making one, intentionally), and he’s going to hate the fact that he was the butt of a few during a Buckingham Palace reception after the official business of the NATO summit in London wrapped up for the day.
In the video, captured by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, British buffoon and PM Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Dutch PM Mark Rutte can be seen chatting about POTUS, without mentioning his name.
They don’t need to, because it’s clear who they are talking about:
They all try and keep a straight face when dealing with him in person, but you can only imagine what’s being said behind closed doors.
Mashable with some social media reactions:
At least Donald can share his embarrassment with Ivanka, who has also been laughed at by world leaders.
You know you’re in the dwang when Boris Johnson doesn’t want to be seen with you. Perhaps Boris is a little embarrassed about what he said back in 2015:
Welcome to London, @realDonaldTrump
Here’s a reminder of what @BorisJohnson said in 2015:
“Trump is clearly out of his mind… I think he’s portraying a quite stupefying ignorance that makes him unfit to hold the office of the President of the US.”

Who are we kidding – Boris Johnson is without shame.
Also worth a look is the moment Donald tried to crack a joke with Macron about ISIS fighters, and was shot down by the French leader:
“Would you like some nice ISIS fighters?” President Trump asks.
“Let’s be serious,” President Emmanuel Macron of France replies.

No need to read between the lines there.
The circus rolls on.
