Elisabeth Moss is most famous for playing Offred in the series The Handmaid’s Tale.
Her new film, The Invisible Man takes the theme of the evil ex-boyfriend and turns him into the ultimate monster.
Moss plays a woman who leaves a controlling relationship with a violent but brilliant scientist.
She later finds out that he has died, and she has inherited large sum of money.
Here’s Rolling Stone:
“Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister, their childhood friend and his teenage daughter,” the film’s synopsis states. “But when Cecilia’s abusive ex commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia’s sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.”
The trailer is super creepy:
I’ll be watching that one with all the lights on.
The Invisible Man will be in theatres February 28, 2020.
