IMPORTANT: We are not saying that buying weed online in South Africa is legal. We are simply telling you how you can…
I remember being at a party at Greg’s house in my late teens / early 20s, and there was a tray of chocolate brownies being passed around. It seemed out of place at a house party but, being a late bloomer, I resigned myself to the fact that my host preferred sweet to savoury, when it came to serving snacks to guests. I wasn’t aware that we had reached the age that would require such great effort to satisfy a house guest, but I welcomed the maturity and looked forward to returning the favour.
The conversation regarding how good the brownies were became more pronounced, as I witnessed a light scramble for them once word spread that “those were the last ones”. I too made a dash for them, assuming these were quite clearly ‘killer brownies’, possibly with a crazy centre of sorts.
Taste-wise I thought they were very nice. Worthy of the obsessive rush for them? Probably not, but hey…
That’s when it dawned on me that there might be more to the brown sponge finger food than meets the eye. Since when was Greg into baking anyway? I thought best to find out, as I had consumed one or possibly more of them.
I sidled up to Fox and enquired, “Is there something in those brownies like weed or something?”
Fox turned to me, bemused – struggling to digest my moronic question. He chose sarcasm to best convey his thoughts on the matter.
“No, Greg just decided out of the blue to make and serve normal chocolate brownies at a house party where people are drinking out of funnels and having sex in the bushes.”
Understood.
Anyway, we had an absolute blast and it would be several years before we made them again. Some of you might recall the story about Mavis eating the leftover brownies in the fridge, resulting in Dixie’s urgent dash home to stop her from ironing the curtains, still on the wall. We’ll save that story for another time.
We told you a few weeks back about 420 Monkeys and their online SA weed delivery service. Well, you’ll be pleased to know that they have added a great range of ‘edibles’ to their repertoire, including gummies, lollipops, chocolate brownies, fudge, biscuits, crispy treats, sweets, popcorn, crunchies, pretzels, biscuits, and coffee.
It’s like a weed and Knead lovechild of sorts.
