South Africa has oodles and oodles of talent.

We already knew this, but now the world is paying attention.

The Ndlovu Youth Choir recently crossed the pond and auditioned for America’s Got Talent.

You’re going to need to emotionally prepare for the actual audition, so first some background.

According to DispatchLIVE the group, from Limpopo, was created to help youth in the area use music to deal with their daily struggles and challenges.

“Whey they join us, many of our kids have the weight of the world on their shoulders, and to them their problems feel insurmountable,” the group’s artistic director Ralf Schmitt said in a taped segment.

You can hear more about their backstory in the intro segment, which was aired before their audition.

The group performed Vicky Sampson’s African Dream.

The response to the audition has been overwhelmingly positive (obviously, that was incredible).

Even Simon Cowell had nothing bad to say.
