A little while before Karl Lagerfeld was taken from us, he collaborated with PUMA.
The result was an inspired capsule collection of sportswear for men and women featuring two unisex sneaker designs, both taking cues from the classic suede design.
The collection was classic Karl, and in fitting with how he lived his life.
Now PUMA is honouring the legendary designer with one last tribute, and fans of the designer are clearly in approval.
Here’s The Source:
As the fashion world continues to mourn the loss of Karl Lagerfeld, PUMA honors his legacy by releasing two collaborative versions of the Roma silhouette in partnership with the iconic designer’s namesake label.
Utilizing a polka dot theme for both shoes in the pack, PUMA does a good job at staying true to Karl’s signature black and white steez that was synonymous with his personal style up until the very end.
Check it out:
The Roma
The unisex Roma option is constructed from soft black leather, finished off with a navy blue collar lining and two-toned rigid outsole.
Roma Amor
The Roma Amor is edgier in appearance and created specifically for women. This design has a satin upper, Millennial pink accents and a platform sole with oversized “KARL LAGERFELD” lettering etched across it.
The KL logo appears on both models in a circular pattern, pairing well with the polka dot print.
The perfect combo of edgy and stylish – just like Lagerfeld himself.
Whilst the shoes aren’t yet available in South Africa, you can still get your hands on the Karl Lagerfeld and PUMA suede collection.
