Football punditry is big business in the Premier League, and many former players can be found with a mic in hand before, during, and after the match.

Former players that can actually add value, mind you, unlike Naas ‘On the Udder Hand’ Botha and some of the in-studio dross we are subjected to here in South Africa.

Arch-rivals and Sky Sports presenters Jamie Carragher and Phil Neville are amongst the highest profile former players, and they caught some stick for an odd segment that occurred earlier this month.

Fellow Sky Sports presenter Kelly Cates was left high and dry after the two strode off whilst answering her question, which didn’t sit well with many viewers.

Kelly was quick to point out that it wasn’t really a snub, though:
