With CBD oil seemingly becoming a catchall remedy for everything from a broken heart to torn ligaments, one gets the feeling that there is more to be considered.
There’s also a wealth of misinformation out there, which isn’t unusual in the age of the internet.
Luckily, this came across my desk this morning, touching on a cannabis wellness workshop taking place in Tamboerskloof this Sunday, March 31.
Here’s more info on the workshop:
Facilitated by a Cape bush doctor, medical doctor, neuro-psychologist & veterinarian. Spend a day with curious and creative human beings learning about Cannabis for first aid. For the general public, this practical workshop introduces the basics of creating with cannabis to nurture your wellbeing, and that of your family.
The workshop adopts an integrative approach presenting both the ancient wisdom and modern science of Cannabis. Topics include history, traditional use, latest research, chemistry, benefits, cautions, legal status, cultivation and first-aid remedy making.
The workshop is for adults only. Please note, no cannabis containing products are sold at the workshop.
Where: Amidst the Cape Medicinal Garden at HAPPY SPACE, 83 Kloof Nek Road.
When: March 31
Time: 9AM – 4PM
Cost: R750 (includes, first aid remedy ingredients, vegan lunch, notes, snacks and teas)
To book: www.happyworks.org.za
I popped in at HAPPY SPACE the other day and was super impressed, and they’re easily the leading local minds in botanical wellness.
This workshop will be fun, informative and inspiring, so I suggest you check it out.
