The end of the year cannot come soon enough, and I’m sure many of you feel like you’re on the verge of committing a workplace crime of your own.
To take your mind off during the home stretch, you might want to check out The Innocent Man, a new six-part series based on the best-selling nonfiction book by John Grisham, titled The Innocent Man: Murder And Injustice In A Small Town.
The series will examine two murders in the small Oklahoma town of Ada, which occurred in the 1980s. Featuring interviews with the victims’ friends and families, local residents, lawyers, journalists and more, it promises to be a wild ride.
Or, as John Grisham himself says in the trailer, “If I wrote The Innocent Man as a novel, folks probably wouldn’t believe it”.
Trailer time:
You’ll have to wait until December 14 for that one, but if that has you keen for more true-crime shows, you can check out five of the best here.
