If you’re in it for the money, then you’ll want to pick your career wisely.
If you aren’t in it for the money, you’ll have a good time in life. We’re all about living the holiday here, after all.
Still, money is useful, which is why CareerJunction did a salary survey, identifying which jobs in South Africa pay the highest salaries.
The salary review looks at the top paying jobs in each sector.
Here’s MyBroadband:
The salary review provides a “true representation of cost-to-company salary packages in South Africa”, said CareerJunction. It added that the information is based on “up-to-date salary information using actual salary offerings on our website for the latest measurable period – May to November 2018”.
Sectors covered in the report include engineering, IT, marketing, finance, manufacturing, medical, construction, sales, and more.
Some sectors have more positions listed than others because they provide more high paying jobs than other sectors.
The sectors with the highest paying jobs were finance, construction and engineering, and IT.
The top paying job, reaching R79 002 per month, was financial management.
Here’s the full list:
You’ll notice that Humanities degree jobs don’t feature on the list, which might explain why the planet is going to hell and South Africans can’t seem to get it together.
