I don’t know about you guys, but my weekends are getting really busy all of a sudden, and a lot of those plans are happening in bars.
If you’ve never worked in a bar, you probably don’t realise just how annoying people can be, especially when they think they’re working the system.
Rolling up in the club as if you’re Diddy isn’t doing you any favours, especially if you don’t have the cash to back it up. Not tipping or tipping R2 on an order of 10 drinks isn’t doing you any favours, either.
Many bars hold the position that if a customer is being kak, then it’s okay not to serve them. So, if you’re getting consistently bad service, you might want to have a think about what you could be doing wrong.
To help you along, here’s VICE and some hardened New York bartenders with what they really wish you would stop doing:
One last tip from a former-bartender – don’t be a dick.
