You’ve probably seen his iconic aesthetic creations on some of the world’s most famous catwalks, alongside his creative direction at brands like Chloe, Fendi and Chanel.
With that incredible résumé, 85-year-old Karl Lagerfeld isn’t a name you’d normally associate with sportswear or street style – until now.
He’s clearly not keen on slowing down and putting his feet up, because the illustrious fashion designer has collaborated with PUMA for an inaugural capsule collection of sportswear for men and women.
PUMA is celebrating 50 years of OG PUMA Suede sneakers by merging their characteristic streetwear aesthetic with Lagerfeld’s signature style.
The collection features two unisex sneaker designs, both taking cues from the classic suede design.

Lagerfeld’s kicks also feature some unique touches – one black and white sneaker sports a tuxedo lapel graphic across the sides, while another offers a removable pair of faux sunglasses across the shoe’s upper (à la the designer’s signature style).
For the threads, think tuxedo-inspired activewear. The women’s lineup is comprised of a matching track jacket and pants, track top, jumpsuit and cropped tee. Guys can expect a hoodie and sweatpants combo, plus a logo tee.
