Sundays are usually spent recovering from Saturdays, so that you can deal more effectively with the Monday work blues.
Then again, if you subscribe to the ‘don’t let your Monday ruin your Sunday’ train of thought, you may spend your Monday nursing a hangover, too.
Lucky for us, this coming weekend is a long one, so you won’t have to face fresh-faced co-workers humble-bragging about their healthy, active weekend.
What better way to pay tribute to everything that makes SA great than by partying hard at We House Sundays‘ Heritage Day party, happening this Sunday, September 23, in the Mother City.
As they say on their site:
We House Sundays is an authentic music event held in heart of South Africa’s Mother City – Cape Town. Combining food, music & friends, WHS celebrates the true essence of House Music and brings together our uniquely diverse cultures, connecting artists, music lovers & dancers from around the globe.
Sounds like a pretty decent way to pay homage to our heritage. More good news – no matter what weather throws at you, the sun will be there to keep the party going.
Yep, Sol Cerveja is sponsoring the event, which is perfect because Sol =Sun=SUNday. Geddit?
Truly the authentic Mexican beer, Sol is easy drinking at any celebration of “Espiritu Libre” – the spirit of freedom.
We House Sundays is all about the spirit of freedom, as you can see from these shots of their last party:
Definitely good vibes.
The party is happening between 2PM and 11PM, and features renowned House DJ Irshaad Samaai on the decks.
You can visit their event page for more details, including where to buy tickets and pricing.
