When you were a kid, you probably thought your dad was Superman.

I was, and am still pretty convinced, that my dad is the real-world version of John McClane in Die Hard – no superpowers, but still badass. So badass that my friends nicknamed him ‘The Consequence’, but that’s another story.

The reason that we’re talking about awesome dads is because of a chap called Nicholas Lynch, who developed super speed and mad reflexes when his son, Noah, did a crazy backflip out of his cot.

Rather than landing on his head, Noah was snapped up by his father, and the move caught the attention of CNN:

Definitely a candidate for epic save of the week.
