It’s Christmas in July!
Not really, but with South Africa going through a cold snap at the moment, you’d think this was a European December situation going down.
From Table Mountain to Sutherland, fluffy white snow is blanketing the ground, and people are getting excited about it.
Totally understandable, since it’s not every day that we get to make snow angels and snowmen like our overseas friends during their winter seasons.
Some people took it one step further, and captured gorgeous drone footage of the snow.
Take a look at the footage that Pieter Seyffert’s drone captured over Matroosberg:
It’s a real winter wonderland out there! Just hope the drones are cold-resistant.
Over in Ceres, the snow also looks stunning when viewed from above. Check out this effort by Gershwin Williams and his drone:
Talk about North Pole realness, right?
If you’re keen to hit up these areas and capture your own spectacular sky-high footage before all the snow is gone, weFix are selling a drone range that starts from R7 999.
This includes the superb DJI Spark, which comes with all the accessories needed to get you up and running.
Or, if your drone is a little under the weather, drop it off at your nearest branch and their expert technicians will make sure that your device gets back to tip-top flying shape.

The snow won’t be around forever, so best you get cracking.
