Do you ever get flak for your choppy handwriting style?

Or perhaps you’re the type who struggles to read through an entire book in one sitting, especially if there’s a lot of information to digest.

That’s not the case for Daniel Mirera, a 22-year-old Kenyan law student, who has a bizarre yet successful way of getting his university assignments done.

Geez, I thought writing with my left hand was hard, but this looks bonkers insane.

As you can see, Mirera’s upside down writing technique helps him out a ton at uni, but he says it doesn’t end there:

I not only write upside down, I also read my notes, books (and) novels upside down.

That’s special talent right there, which he has been utilising since his lower primary school days.

Mind you, it has gotten him into trouble once, a report by Hivisasa explains:

[Mirera] had problems with the invigilator during the national examinations after his answer booklet was taken away from him for suspected cheating.

“When he saw my answer booklet upside down, he thought I was cheating and took it,” Mireri said.

It was until his classmates had intervened that he was allowed to continue, they told the invigilator that that was how he used to write.

“He apologized [sic] and gave back the booklet,” he said.

Crisis averted.

It looks like Mirera will continue to read and write this way – if it helps him get his work, then why not?
