The internet wasn’t ready when the Carters shared some raunchy nude snaps during their On the Run Tour II.
Nor was the internet ready when the couple released a new joint album on Jay-Z’s Tidal platform.
The nine-track album, known as Everything Is Love, dropped on Saturday, June 15, with Beyoncé teasing the first video off the album with a snippet posted on Instagram, reports Mashable.
Then the husband-and-wife duo went and dropped the music video for “Apeshit” on Bey’s YouTube channel the same day, which shows them and a whole lot of dancers taking over the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.
It’s not just the artwork that is a masterpiece:
Only the Carters could be capable of renting out the damn Louvre for something epic like this.
As y’all can see, they go in hard with their beats as they take us on a full-on visual tour of the museum, with famous works like the Venus de Milo and the Galerie d’Apollon being featured.
Hell, even Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Mona Lisa” gets a decent amount of airtime.
The video’s already racked up over 10 million views on YouTube, so that says a lot about how much the world is in love with the Carters.
Now I’ve got high expectations for when they decide to drop their next music video …
